Shrikari Aerospace Industries is building the Garuda 38, a next-generation 40-seat regional turboprop aircraft designed specifically for short-haul, underserved markets. While global OEMs have shifted their focus toward larger aircraft (75+ seats), hundreds of regional routes remain economically underserved because existing aircraft are either too large, too expensive to operate, or nearing the end of their production life. Our objective is to deliver an aircraft that combines low operating costs, modern avionics, high dispatch reliability, and certification to international standards, enabling airlines to profitably connect smaller cities. We are initially focused on India, one of the world's fastest-growing aviation markets, before expanding to Asia, Africa, Latin America, and other emerging regions with similar connectivity needs. The timing is compelling. Governments are investing in regional connectivity, airlines are seeking efficient replacements for their ageing fleet, supply chains are becoming more accessible to new aerospace entrants, and advances in digital engineering are lowering development barriers. These factors create a rare opportunity for a new aircraft program.
