About Mentessa

Mentessa is the skill-based platform for matching, onboarding and mentoring in distributed organisations. It connects employees with the right mentor, project or training — based on the skills they declare themselves. The difference is the incentive: people who declare their skills get a better personal match in return, not a score in an HR system. That is where most skills initiatives fail. Mentessa works with organisations of 100+ across healthcare, banking and industry. In 2024 the company won the WirtschaftsWoche Best of Technology Award in the Human Resources category, and in 2022 a Brandon Hall Excellence Award in Gold. Mentessa was founded in Munich in 2019.
