Loyal is the fund Kamal wished he had available during his 20 year career as an entrepreneurial CEO, and 15 years as an angel investor. It draws upon his professional and philanthropic experiences and networks formed as a Global Director with the Founder Institute accelerator, former INSEAD Alumni Association President, as a consultant at Bain & Co, and as an engineer at IMAX. He has an INSEAD MBA and a degree in engineering physics from Queen's University. He has traveled to over 100 countries and speaks 5 languages.

Michael Kosic is a Managing Partner of Loyal VC, founded in 2018. Loyal has invested in 300+ companies, in 60+ countries while delivering above average venture, thanks to its network of 800+ expert advisors.
Loyal draws on Michael's lifelong experience as a technology entrepreneur, professional Industrial Engineer, and Angel Investor, while heavily leveraging his INSEAD network, where he earned his MBA, and the Founder Institute accelerator, where he was a top rated mentor for several years.
Michael Kosic
Spencer joined Loyal in 2020 as an Associate. Prior to Loyal, he spent three years with Citigroup in their investment banking division working on global capital markets transactions across sectors. In addition to his role on the investment team at Loyal, Spencer manages Loyal’s advisor network and has also built out many of the systems that have scaled the fund’s unique operations. He is also deep in the web3 ecosystem as a user and an investor.
Spencer Christiansen
Jose joined Loyal part-time in 2021 as an analyst, and as of 2023 full-time as an associate. Prior to Loyal, he worked as an analyst for an investment baking boutique in San Francisco focusing on M&A for mid-market SaaS tech companies. He has also worked as a corporate FP&A analyst for VMware.
In his current role, Jose supports the fund operations, ad-hoc requests from GPs, VPs and advisors, as well as fundraising efforts. Based in LATAM, his interest is to create a strong network to support founders, angel investor and institutional investors sharing the opportunities VC holds in the region.
José Gadea
Cassidy joined Loyal in 2021 as the Digital Content Lead. Her role has since expanded from social media and marketing to include website strategy and design, event planning, portfolio company intake, and investor research. Cassidy has also helped create Loyal's investor, advisor, and founder portals, as well as a Slack community for portfolio company founders.
Cassidy Garbe
Bernardo Bluhm is an experienced financial professional and advisor with 14+ years of experience in M&A, Private Equity and Venture capital working in 4 countries. He was part of the team that managed the first seed capital fund in LATAM, called CRIATEC. Before joining Loyal VC, he was the Investment Director at Engie New Ventures, leading series A+ deals related to Access to Energy, Mobility and the Energy Transition spanning Europe, and US. He is also one of the 7 general experts that advise the Innovation Council at Innosuisse, the Swiss Innovation Agency. He has an MBA from INSEAD.
Bernardo Bluhm
Alexandra is a Venture Partner with Loyal VC. She previously spent 11 years as an editor and business and finance correspondent at The Economist, driving growth of the publication’s digital presence, establishing its Milan desk, and reporting from four continents. Alexandra holds degrees from Cambridge University and the London School of Economics. She was a Journalist in Residence at Chicago's Booth School of Business and has an executive MBA from INSEAD. She speaks English, French and Italian.

Erwin is an experienced executive and entrepreneur and NED. He coaches, mentors and advises boards and C-level executives and is a Venture Partner at Loyal VC. He is a values-driven person who sees his purpose in creating a positive impact through innovation and a strong focus on the individual. He believes that building trust between all stakeholders is the best way to achieve sustainable results.
He holds an MBA in from INSEAD, a MSc. in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen, a certificate from MIT|Sloan in Design Thinking and is an ICF certified coach. He speaks five languages.
Erwin Feldhaus
Miro joined Loyal in 2023 as an Advisor and recently furthered her engagement as Venture Partner. Miro is a FMCG professional. She worked with Canadian Food Inspection Agency, PepsiCo Foods, and currently leading a global procurement group at Kraft Heinz Company. In addition, Miro has consulted projects globally across diverse industries. Miro attended INSEAD MBA program in 2017.

Levi is the Director of the Creative Destruction Lab-Seattle and Managing Director of the Seattle chapter of the Founder Institute. His entrepreneurial experience includes a stint as the cofounder of a SaaS startup, a bootstrapped marketing agency, and creation of a DTC business for a multinational healthcare firm. He spent about 5 years leading product marketing and GTM teams at Amazon.
Levi Reed
James Stewart is a part-time Venture Partner at Loyal. He is a startup advisor, mentor, and angel investor — skilled in strategy, innovation, and marketing — and an experienced strategy consultant and mentor for several accelerators. James studied engineering at Cambridge, completed an MBA at INSEAD, is a Marketing Academy alum, and a Graduate Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
In his spare time, he is a keen surf lifesaver, trainer, and Patrol Captain at Bondi beach. He is also a board director for C-Res, a director of the INSEAD ANZ Alumni society, and a Marketing Academy Alumni advisory committee member.
James Stewart
Amine Tazi is a Venture Partner at Loyal VC. He is a General Manager with experience as C-level, Non-Executive Board Director, in corporate strategy, M&A, digital transformation and product marketing in the Internet, telecommunications, digital and software industry. He is also an entrepreneur and angel investor.
Amine holds a MSc from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (Lausanne) and from Eurecom Institute (Sophia Antipolis, France). He holds also an executive MBA from London Business School (LBS). He is a Swiss citizen , lives in Switzerland and speaks four languages.
